Nov. 19, 2019: All Data: Joint Finance Committee

On May 23, 2019, I queried 14 of the 16 members of the Joint Finance Committee. I asked for citizen correspondence regarding public education funding and the Governor's proposed budget. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am only now able to tally and publish the results below.

I tallied a YES when the writer either expressed support for the Governor's budget or stated that funding public education was one of his/her top priorities. The heading "Other Priorities" represents those who either didn't mention public education at all or who expressed opposition to limiting the voucher program.

NOTE: Co-chair Nygren's totals come from the other JFC members' records where his name appeared as having received a copy. He refused to comply with my request for his records unless I paid him.  I refused to pay him.

Totals for Rep. Born and Rep. Katsma also come from other JFC members' records where their names appeared as having received a copy. I did not query them because at the time, they were defendants in my law suit related to the lame duck session.
